Isso porque <em>put<\/em> <em>aside<\/em> \u00e9 um <em>phrasal verb<\/em> que permite as duas formas. Primeiro, se pensarmos nas palavras colocar (<em>put<\/em>) abaixo\/para baixo (<em>down<\/em>) j\u00e1 teremos dois modos de uso: um mais literal, de colocar alguma coisa f\u00edsica em um lugar mais baixo, ou o figurado, parecido com o portugu\u00eas de \u201ccolocar algu\u00e9m para baixo\u201d (sendo esse o de criticar, menosprezar outra pessoa):<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jen <strong>put<\/strong> her suitcase <strong>down<\/strong> and went straight to the kitchen to eat her mom\u2019s cake<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Jen colocou sua mala no ch\u00e3o e foi direto para cozinha, para comer o bolo de sua m\u00e3e)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Put<\/strong> the gun <strong>down<\/strong>! <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Abaixe a arma!)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He\u2019s always trying to <strong>put<\/strong> everyone <strong>down<\/strong>. Eu n\u00e3o consigo tolerar mais o Joe, j\u00e1 aguentei o suficiente!)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>He quit his job. He couldn&#8217;t <strong>put up with<\/strong> his boss anymore<\/em> (Ele se demitiu. Ele n\u00e3o conseguia mais tolerar o chefe dele)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Put together <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; criar\/organizar\/montar alguma coisa:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>She <strong>put<\/strong> that project <strong>together<\/strong> all by herself<\/em> (Ela criou aquele projeto sozinha)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>They are <strong>putting together<\/strong> a team to work specifically on this matter<\/em> (Eles est\u00e3o montando uma equipe para trabalhar especificamente nesta quest\u00e3o)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>To take<\/h2>\n<p><b>Take after <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; esse <em>phrasal verb<\/em> serve para dizer que uma pessoa se assemelha a outra, geralmente usado para se referir a familiares:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>John is so stubborn. He <strong>takes<\/strong>\u00a0that <strong>after<\/strong> his father<\/em> (John \u00e9 t\u00e3o teimoso. Ele &#8220;puxou&#8221; isso do pai dele)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>In looks she <strong>takes after<\/strong> her mother<\/em> (Na apar\u00eancia ela se parece com a m\u00e3e)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Take away <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; outro <em>phrasal verb<\/em> poliss\u00eamico (com muitos sentidos), o <em>take away<\/em> \u00e9 muito utilizado por falantes de ingl\u00eas.
